TECHNIQUE FOR SUTURING WOUND AFTER EXCISION OF PILONIDAL FISTULA

A technique for suturing the wound after excision of the pilonidal fistula provides for applying U-shaped vertical sutures on the wound involving the sacral fascia. The modified horizontal U-shaped adaptive suture is used for closing the wound. The ends of the ligature are tied up on the gauze wad.
