TECHNIQUE FOR OBLIQUE ANASTOMOSIS IN STRANGULATION INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION

A technique for oblique anastomosis in the strangulation intestinal obstruction comprises resection of small intestine within the viability margins with end-to-end anastomosis. The afferent and efferent colonic loops are cut in perpendicular to the direction of the passage of the colonic content. The afferent loop is cut at the angle covering two thirds of the colonic lumen. The lower edge is cut at the oblique angle from the left to the right relative to the direction of the passage of the colonic content. The upper edge of the cut is tailored vertically covering one third of lumen. The efferent loop is cut at the angle from the left to the right relative to the direction of the passage of the colonic content wherein the upper edge of the cut is oblique and the lower edge is cut at the acute angle.
