APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING ELECTRIC CABLE TO HOOK SUSPENSION OF HOISTING CRANE

An apparatus for connecting an electric cable to a hook suspension of a hoisting crane comprises a pantograph collector in the form of a mechanical fitting which includes parallelogram-shaped jointed links with an electric cable fastened thereto. The top and bottom of the pantograph collector are jointed to a travelling trolley and to the hook suspension with possibility of rocking in two perpendicular planes, the pantograph collector axis is located at an angle to a vertical axle of the hook suspension, the electric cable is fastened to the vertical axle of the hook suspension, the cable is fixed to the links of the pantograph collector in such a manner that loops are formed in the region of side joins of said links. The radius of loop bent is directed to the opposite side from the hook suspension. A crane hook hoisting mechanism serves as a drive for the electric cable hoisting and lowering.
