A method for growing artificial tree stands of pine in conditions of pine subforests includes planting trees with 0.9-metre row spacings, with a planting pitch of . In each of the successive rows the seedlings are shifted as regards to preceding ones for a half of the planting pitch exactly (). While being grown, the tree stand is thinned in three steps by a linear method of improvement felling by felling every second row.
