A method for conservative treatment of reflux esophagitis in patients with gastric cancer after gastrectomy involves the use of analgesics, anti-inflammatory and reparative preparations. The treatment is carried out differentially depending on degree of inflammatory changes in esophagus, therefor endoscopic examination is carried out, and in absence of esophagus erosion a medicinal mixture containing vegetable oil and Biovit preparation is prescribed by 5-10 ml two hours after meal. Under esophagus erosion in addition prescribed are 1-2% novocaine solution (1 tablespoon) and 2-4 ml of 2% papaverine solution 10-15 min. before meals.
