METHOD FOR THE PREDICTION OF PSORIASIS COURSE IN PATIENTS WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME

A method for the prediction of psoriasis course in patients with metabolic syndrome involves estimation of clinical implications of psoriasis with estimation of degree of erythema, infiltration, ecdysis and generalization of pathologic process with calculation of PASI index (Psoriatic Area and Severity Index). Indices of metabolic syndrome are determined for patients, and Pearson correlation coefficient r between PASI index and content of triglycerides, low density lipoproteins, endogenic insulin in blood HOMA-IR and index of insulin resistance is calculated.
