METHOD FOR REPAIR OF REINFORCED-CONCRETE BRIDGES OF CONSOLE TYPE

A method for repair of reinforced-concrete bridges of console type includes investigation of the joints of the suspension and the console, determination of the level of deflection from stationary position for each, with installation of additional metal consoles and fixation of those to main consoles of main beams by means of vertical links. One adds to existing metal consoles, for instance, by welding, a channel bar with length not less than 350 mm, with installation of additional rubber support section and a link at angle 45° with fixation at the upper sections of cantilevers of the beams.
