TECHNIQUE FOR NEUROTIZATION OF DISTAL BRANCHES OF MEDIAN NERVE IN PATIENTS WITH TETRAPLEGIA

摘要

A technique for the neurotization of the distal branches of the median nerve in the patients with tetraplegia comprises the microsurgical treatment of the injured nerves upon Z-shaped skin cut in the area of fossa cubitalis. With the aid of the operational microscope, the most distal branch of the muscular-cutaneous nerve if found out identifying it by intraoperative electrodiagnostics.
