METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING STROKE IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE VESTIBULAR SYNDROME

A method for diagnosing the stroke in the patients with the acute vestibular syndrome comprises the analysis of the lipid spectrum of the blood, Dopplerography, CT, MRI, the detection of nystagmus. The nystagmus changing its direction with the change of the gaze direction with accompanying deviation of eye-balls is indicative of the stroke in vertebrobasilar circulation.
