The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the construction of the plant for steel smelting in converters with the use of hot lime. The plant includes the converter, the system of conversion gases collection, their combustion, the apparatus for cooling converter gases, which is designed in the form of the charging unit with the mechanism of charging o the burnt lime, system for cooled converter gas discharging, lining furnace, the system for supplying of hot converter gases, discharging unit with a mechanism of discharge the burnt lime, smoke exhauster with the equipment for regulation of suction speed of converter gases, at that the system of conversion gases collection and their combustion, is made in the form of a freely connected with each other equipment for converter gases intake and tract for hot converter gases, equipment for intake of converter gases is equipped with a mechanism for lifting / lowering thereof and a mechanism for lifting / lowering of the cover of this equipment, semi-detached with a mechanism for lifting / lowering oxygen tuyere, at that the lining furnace of the unit for cooling of converter gases is made horizontal, the system for loading of hot burnt lime in the converter is composed of mechanism for periodic discharge of hot burnt lime and the turning groove, and equipment for the control of suction speed of conversion gases – with an electric motor with control unit of frequency of the specified motor speed, in addition, the plant is equipped with a charging hopper of the source lime. The invention provides heat recovery of the disposed conversion gases for heating the original limestone, which is charged separately, control of suction speed of the outlet conversion gases and introduction of the soft-burnt lime in steel, which is produced in the converter.
