A method for control of state of a rock massif at gasification of solid fuel in mine conditions includes drilling from day surface of a backfill inclined-horizontal well, seam ignition, production of artificial gas and backfilling of deformed rocks of ceiling and degassed space. Drilling, mounting and operation of the backfill well and backfill pipeline one carries out from the working that adjoins the seam, in the rocks of ceiling of the mine gas generator. Supply of backfill material is performed by backfill pipeline laid along the workings from backfill complex. Perforated section of the pipeline is in the backfill well. One forms backfill massif over the gas generator and in degassed space as the fire face propagates, ceiling rocks are deformed, degassed space increases. The temperature field is formed through supply of injection-backfill material under pressure to cavities and vertical cracks of the rock massif over the mine gas generator.
