The invention relates to digital engineering and can be used for shaping a pulse duration sequence of the preset pulse ratio with high accuracy, which do not depend on information signal frequency variation. The invention based on a problem to obtain a pulse duration sequence of preset ratio with high accuracy not depending on information signal frequency variation. Comparison of the proposed invention to previously known methods and a prototype model indicates that the proposed method displays knew technical conditions to obtain a pulse-duration sequence of preset pulse ratio with high accuracy. The ratio remains constant, if frequency of information signal varies. The method allows setting the pulse ratio with high accuracy. Use of an indicator provides for control of frequency and the required pulse ratio of the pulse duration sequence. An apparatus for pulse duration sequence shaping with variable frequency and the preset pulse ratio comprises a high-stable reference generator, a microcontroller, a controlled voltage generator, a phase detector, an indicator, a divider with variable division coefficient. The microcontroller controls devices connected thereto according to the preset algorithm. The advantages of the proposed method make it possible to obtain a pulse duration sequence of preset ratio, while frequency of the input signal varies.
