The disclosed assembly-type planting container (210) is provided with: bottom plate pieces (221) having a fitting part on the top surface of the main plate, which is a rectangular plate; side plate pieces (231) having a bottom plate joining piece (225) with a joining unit on the bottom surface and having a fitting part on the top and bottom of the main plate, which is a rectangular plate; inter-side plate auxiliary pieces (241) having a height corresponding to that of said side plate pieces (231) and having a fitting part on the top and bottom; and top joining pieces (250) having a fitting part on the bottom. The assembly-type planting container (210) is assembled by erecting the side plates around the circumference of the bottom plate parts (221) by alternately fitting together the side plate pieces (231) and the inter-side plate auxiliary pieces (241) by means of the respective fitting parts thereof, and by fitting the top joining pieces (250) on top of the area neighboring the side plate pieces (231) and the inter-side plate auxiliary pieces (241) by means of the respective fitting parts.
