Procedure for making an interactive voice service available in VoiceXML format, from among a set of interactive voice services, on a platform accessible to a client terminal, said platform constituting an intermediate element between said terminal and a server; characterized in that said interactive voice service comprises a description file (12) describing said service and at least one software component specific to said service; when said client terminal accesses said interactive voice service, the method comprises an interpretation stage of said description file (12) and of said at least one specific software component to said service, said procedure further comprising: - a step for generate a dialog page of said service, in VoiceXML format, according to a current state of said dialogue and said description file (12); - a step to delegate a processing operation to be performed by said voice service in said specific software component according to said current state of said dialogue and said description file (12); and because said server accesses, during said generation stage and said delegation stage, a description file (15) describing characteristics of said platform, so that said interactive voice service adapts to said platform.
