Combination of immunogenotherapy and chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer and hyperproliferative diseases

A pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment of cancer or hyperproliferative disorders, comprising: (a) a nucleic acid selected from the group consisting of plasmid DNA, siRNA, sense RNA, antisense RNA and ribozyme, and a gene delivery polymer; and (b) an antineoplastic pharmaceutical agent, characterized in that (i) the gene delivery polymer is a lipopolymer comprising a main chain of polyethyleneimine covalently linked to a polyethylene glycol and a cholesterol; and (ii) the pharmaceutical agent is selected from the group consisting of chemotherapeutic drugs, antiangiogenic drugs, antineoplastic peptides, monoclonal antibodies and mixtures thereof.
