Multilayer tissue paper having at least two layers of tissue paper, with: a first layer (2) that is provided with a first printing pattern that forms cushions (24), each cushion being shaped in the form of at least one part of a first plea (20); and a second layer (3) that is provided with a second stamping pattern that forms protuberances (32, 34), each protuberance forming at least a part of a second motif (30); combining at least the first layer and the second layer such that the protuberances of the second layer are generally placed inside the cushions of the first layer and the patterns are aligned with each other, in which the first and second motif motive are matched to produce a repetitive pattern of compound motifs conformed by the first and second motifs.
