Laser dye in a solid state. # This patent describes a system based on organic dyes incorporated solid matrix capable of emitting laser radiation tunable small line width in the green-red region of the electromagnetic spectrum, for optoelectronic applications and biophotonic system . The system comprises the laser cavity, dispersive or non-dispersive, and the active medium used for the generation and emission of laser light. The active medium comprises at least one dye included in a solid matrix of at least one polymer. In cavity nondispersive each dye-matrix broadband radiation emitted at a wavelength specific center wavelength. In dispersive cavity each dye-matrix combination emits narrowband radiation tunable over a range of at least 40 nm.
