A purified antibody, or fragment or derivative thereof, wherein said antibody, or fragment or derivadodel same: - recognizes and binds to the CDR3 loop of an antigen receptor of invariant T cells (TCR), - (i) binds and (ii) expands or activates at least one T cell subpopulation selected from the group of NK T cells, T cells reactive to CD1d and T JαQ + lymphocytes, y- recognizes neither substantially bind other molecules, wherein said derivative is an antibody or fragment chemically modified antibody, through tecnologíade gene fusion, or by chemical synthesis, so that it is covalently bound to a toxin, compuestoterapéuticamente active, enzyme, cytokine, radiolabel, fluorescent label or an affinity tag.
