COMPOSITE PIPE FORMED BY A METALLIC OUTER PIPE WITH INNER LINING OF PLASTIC MATERIAL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID PIPE, AND ITS USE

A method for manufacturing a composite pipe formed by an outer metallicpipe with a plastic material inner lining is described. The pipe exhibitsresistance tointernal and external pressure, and resistance to aggressive agents defined bytheplastic material. The inner lining is a prefabricated plastic material pipeinserted intothe metallic pipe, interposing a means able to transmit internal pressurewithin theplastic material pipe to the metallic pipe. The method comprises the steps of:graspingsaid prefabricated plastic material pipe by one end; and dragging it into themetallicpipe; simultaneously injecting a setting filling material by means of aninjection toolinto the gap between the plastic material pipe being inserted and thecorrespondingmetallic pipe surface; dragging said setting filling material untilsubstantially fillingthe gap between both pipes; and letting the filling material set.Also described is the use of said composite pipe.
