USE OF R-4-TRIMETHYLAMMONIO-3-(TETRADECYL-CARBAMOYL)-AMINOBUTYRATE AND METFORMIN FOR THE TREATMENT OF DIABETES

The combination of R-4-trimethylammonio-3-(tetra-decylcarbamoyl)-aminobutyrateand metformin is disclosed. Said combination of anti-diabetic drugs exerts asynergic action and allows the administration of the two drugs at doses suchas to avoid or reduce the occurrence of side effects. The combination is alsouseful for improving the therapeutic cover far from mealtimes, and inpostabsorption and fasting conditions.
