An AVClip, and a PLMark specifying a playback startposition in the AVCLip, are recorded on a BD-ROM. A cue-upoperation for choosing a playback start position in the AVClipis performed by three types of instructions, namely a user-skipoperation, a chapter search operation, and a Link command.Among these three types of instructions, attributeinformation included in marker information indicates whetheronly a branching command operation is allowed for choosing acorresponding playback start position, or the user-skipoperation and the chapter search operation are allowed addingto the branching command.
