SECURE CONDUIT (PATHWAY) SYSTEM FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT, ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS EQUIPMENT, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND THE LIKE

A secure conduit system is described through which electrical, electronic oroptical fiber cables, pneumatic tubing, hydraulic tubing or other elongatedwiring, cabling or tubing can be routed. The system includes open-sidedraceways through which the cable is routed, covers for closure of theraceways, at least one locking device to lock a raceway and cover and beingreleasable only from within the raceway, with the device release beingaccessible only through an open end of the conduit, and the remainder of theconduit sections being openable only after release of the locking device ofthe first section. The conduit system may be multibranched and is intended tobe connected at its ends to secure enclosures which allow for controlledaccess to the cabling and to the release mechanism. Typical uses will be forcomputer networks, communication systems, equipment control systems and remoteenvironmental gas sampling and analysis systems.
