The invention relates to a device and method for unloading laminar elementsfrom a rolland transferring stacks of such laminar elements, and to the roll used for thesame. The inventivemethod comprises the following steps consisting of: unloading sheets from aroll (11) with theaid of a barrier (10); receiving the sheets on a support (12), such as to forma growing stack;positioning a separator (13) between two adjacent sheets in which the firstsheet completes afinished stack on the support and the second sheet is held by the separator inorder to begin a newstack; moving the support (12) to an outlet support (15) and pushing thefinished stack with theaid of a push element (14) in order to transfer same from the support (12) tothe outlet support(15); moving the support (12) to the position of the separator (13) andremoving the separator(13) in order to transfer the growing stack from the separator (13) to thesupport (12). Theinvention also relates to the device used to implement said method.
