The field of the invention is the use of an effective amount of a polyfunctional coupling system (A) as an inorganic filler-elastomer coupling agent in rubber compositions comprising: (B) at least one rubber-like elastomer natural or synthetic; (C) an inorganic filler as a reinforcing filler; (D) all or part of the other constituents or additives usually used, in particular comprising a vulcanization agent (s); said use being characterized in that + the polyfunctional coupling system (A) consists in the combination of the following ingredients (A1) and (A2): (A1) is at least one coupling agent chosen from functionalized organosilicon compounds of formula (I) below: [(G0) 3 SiO1 / 2] m [(G0) 2 SiO2 / 2] n [G0SiO3 / 2] o [SiO 4/2] p [(G2) a (G1) a '(Z-CO) -N = N-CO-A) SiO (3-a-a ') / 2] q in which the symbols Z, A, G0, G1, G2, a, a', m, n, o, p and q have the meanings given in claim 1; (A2) is at least one coupling agent selected from either "symmetrical" polysulfide silanes or "asymmetric" sulfide silanes; + said polyfunctional coupling system (A) is incorporated into rubber compositions based on isoprenic elastomers.
