The present description relates to a computer-implemented method, a computerprogram product and an embedded system for displaying data more efficiently,whereinthe embedded system comprises an integrated circuit and a convertor, andwherein theintegrated circuit includes an image codec, the method comprising:receiving a string at the embedded system;generating, by means of the convertor, a converted image using the string;producing, by means of the image codec, a decoded image by decoding theconverted image; andsending the decoded image to a display device.
