It is described a power distribution system for distributingelectric power generated by a wind farm (100) between (a) anAC power transmission link (150) and (b) a DC power transmissionlink (160), wherein both power transmission links (150,160) connect the wind farm (100) to a substation (180) of apower grid. The power distribution system comprises a centralwind farm controller (130), which is adapted for controllingthe operation of the wind turbines (110) of the wind farm(100), and a distribution device (140), which is connectableat its input side to the wind farm (100) and at its outputside to both power transmission links (150, 160). In responseto a control signal (130a) from the central wind farm controller(130), the distribution device (140) distributes thegenerated electrical power between the two power transmissionlinks (150, 160). It is further described a power transmissionsystem comprising the above described power distributionsystem and a method for distributing electric power betweenan AC power transmission link (150) and a DC power transmis-sion link (160). Further, a central wind farm controller(130) and a computer program are described, which are bothconfigured for controlling the above described method.
