The present invention relates to methods for screening for binding interactionsusing multiple sets of microparticles, wherein said set has the same identifiablecharacteristic and wherein one of more sets comprise subsets of microparticlesand said subset presents at least one unique probe that acts as a binding partnerfor a target molecule in a biological sample. In particular, the invention providesfor methods of detecting tissue -typing antigens in donor tissue or recipienttissue using these multiple sets of microparticles.
