The present invention relates to a wormwood pill containing 95% of a wormwood ethyl alcohol extract that has the inactivation efficacy of the H1NI virus and the H9N2 avian influenza virus. To be more specific, while the traditional wormwood pill obtained by hot water extraction contains 0.8% of crude fats, the wormwood ethyl alcohol extract of the present invention contains 11.6% of crude fats, which is 14.5 times higher, and exhibits the efficacy in inactivating 99.99% of the H1N1 virus as well as the disinfection effect for the H9N2 avian influenza virus, respectively. When administered to humans or poultry, the wormwood pill containing 95% of the wormwood ethyl alcohol extract having the inactivation efficacy of the H1N1 virus and the H9N2 avian influenza virus according to the present invention helps humans or poultry to become immune to the viruses.
