A method for displaying the software loading status of a mobile phone includes: obtaining the software loading status of the mobile phone, and generating the corresponding level control signal according to the loading status; transmitting the level control signal to a display module through a data line, and controlling the display module to display the loading status in the predefined way. Furthermore, a corresponding device is also provided. The technical solution of the present invention enables the loading status of the mobile phone software to be displayed by the display module, and solves the problem in the prior art that the loading status can't be displayed during the loading process of the mobile phone software.
