The present invention relates to a vibration generator for adaptive control of frequency matching characteristics, by which a driving frequency is adaptively and automatically tuned, depending on whether the resonance frequency of a vibrating unit and the driving frequency match each other. To this end, the vibration generator for adaptive control of frequency matching characteristics of the present invention comprises: a signal generating unit, generating a certain drive signal on the basis of a predetermined driving frequency; a driving unit, driving the driving signal of the signal generating unit; a vibrating unit, vibrating in response to the signal that is driven by the driving unit; and a current monitoring unit, detecting a current waveform by using an internal voltage change in the driving unit, analyzing the detected current waveform to decide whether the driving frequency and the resonance frequency of the vibrating unit match each other, and outputting a frequency control signal to the signal generating unit according to a predetermined method if the frequencies do not match each other.
