Ideally, what is required is a method of drilling that both catches and contains all of the debris that is displaced from the hole. The disadvantages of the familiar method of drilling as stated above are overcome to a very high degree by the present innovation, which provides a drillthrough dust container, shaped and positioned so that the centrifugal forces created by the drilling action ensure that the dust particles are captured within the device. When the drilled hole is finished the device is simply removed from the drill bit and is then emptied of debris into a waste bin or bag for later disposal. Using the "No-Mess Drill" is a single handed operation and is inherently safe. The operator positions the device with one hand while drilling with the other.
