The present invention relates to a system and method for a personality consulting report on opposite sex personality matching, which deduces the personality of a member of the opposite sex who shows a high probability of marrying a member using numerical values corresponding to questions listed on the survey on the personality of the member, and proposes the deduced personality. According to the present invention, a regression analysis is performed on the personality factors of a marriage partner for a member who has already been married to obtain personality factors of the marriage partner and objective factors, so as to obtain a regression equation; numerical sections for men and women are generated in accordance with the distribution of numerical values of personality factors of the marriage partner of the member who has already been married; a numerical section (hereinafter, referred to as a "corresponding section") is obtained, wherein the numerical section corresponds to the marriage partner (hereinafter, referred to as a "partner member") who has married the member in the numerical section; and the numerical values of questions listed on the survey on the personality of the member are inputted, and the numerical section of the member and the section which corresponds to the numerical section are searched using the regression equation. According to the system and method of the present invention, personality factors of the opposite sex, which are well-matched to the member, can be estimated, and partner-matching can be performed in an accurate manner by taking socio-economic, physical, home-environment and other conditions into consideration.
