The image capture device calculates the relationship between the main subject body parallax and the main subject body distance (118), adjusts the parallax so that the parallax at the image capture time of the image capture minimum distance is within the tolerance range according to the relationship (120), and performs playback with the adjusted parallax (124). As a result, it is possible to maintain optimal parallax when playing back the moving image regardless of the parallax with which the image capture was performed at image capture time.
