Disclosed are a PIVKA-II measurement method, a PIVKA-II measurement reagent, a method for determining the severity of a hepatic disorder, and a method for determination of liver cancer, each of which does not utilize a conventional measurement reagent that measures PIVKA-II that is increased in liver cancer, can determine the severity or predict the prognosis of a hepatic disorder in liver cancer based on a measurement value obtained using an antibody specific to PIVKA-II that is increased when vitamin K is deficient, and can detect liver cancer with high sensitivity.Specifically disclosed is a method for measuring PIVKA-II, which involves a step (a) of measuring PIVKA-II that is induced by the deficiency of vitamin K by an immunological measurement method utilizing a double antibody sandwich technique to obtain a measurement value (A), wherein an antibody specific to PIVKA-II induced by the deficiency of vitamin K is used as the antibody to be used in the double antibody sandwich technique in the step (a).
