A method for testing cross-linking rate of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) in photovoltaic solar battery pack involves utilizing differential heat flow analysis method of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) to measure the cross-linking rate of EVA in the pack, measuring the heat flow of EVA in lamination process and performing DSC calorimetry based on the theory of differential thermal analysis. The cross-linking rate of EVA is expressed as gel content, and the gel content calculation formula is: gel content = (H1-H2)/H1*100%. H1 is heat release of raw material in unit weight, and H2 is heat release of remaining non-cross linking raw material EVA after lamination in unit weight.
