A chair backrest conforming to ergonomics includes a plate backrest body (1). A U-shaped penetrating groove (4) is provided at the bottom of the backrest body (1). A plate (5) in the area of the U-shaped penetrating groove (4) extrudes ahead to form an arc shape similar to the low back of a human. Two upright penetrating grooves (2) are provided in the backrest body (1). Many penetrating apertures (3) are provided on the plate (5). Many screws (6) are provided on the back of the backrest body (1) for connecting with a cushion.
