[Problem] To provide a pipe which is highly resistant to corrosion by the vapor of a fuel such as gasoline, gas oil, bioethanol or a biodiesel fuel, a method for producing a pipe, and a steel plate for producing a pipe. [Solution] A method for producing a pipe having a bend section which is highly resistant to corrosion by a fuel vapor, said method comprising: a step for preparing a steel plate for producing a pipe which is characterized by being provided, at least on one surface, with a zinc-nickel (Zn-Ni) alloy layer having a nickel content of 4-16 at%; a step for shaping the steel plate for producing a pipe into a tube having the Zn-Ni alloy layer as the inner face; and a step for bending the pipe in such a manner that the elongation at a convex bending part formed by the bending is not more than 20%. A steel plate for producing a pipe which is highly resistant to corrosion by a fuel vapor, said pipe being provided with a Zn-Ni alloy layer at least as the uppermost layer of the face which serves as the inner face of the pipe, and the nickel content of the Zn-Ni alloy layer being 4-16 at%.
