COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS METHOD FOR DATA OBTAINED THROUGH LC-MALDI

[Problem] To provide a method for determining the homology of precursor ions obtained by subjecting sample fractions separated by liquid chromatography (LC) to spotting at a prescribed position in a prescribed order on a sample plate, then subjecting these fractions to a tandem mass spectrometer (MS/MS) provided with an ionization unit using the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) technique. [Solution] A method including a step for determining precursor ions are homologous in the case that: (1) in relation to the position on a sample plate obtained by a precursor ion derived from a first sample, the position on a sample plate obtained by a precursor ion derived from a second sample satisfies a prescribed relationship; and (2) a comparison of the product ion groups of both precursor ions reveals that both precursor ions are homologous.
