The present invention provides a device and method for enabling radio frequency leakage cancellation and a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader. Said device includes: a coupler for coupling to acquire a first reference signal from the forward radio frequency signal transmitted by the RFID reader; a cancellation signal generating circuit for generating a cancellation signal according to said first reference signal; a combiner for performing cancellation for the leakage signal using the cancellation signal, and the amplitude of leakage signal which is processed by cancellation is smaller than the amplitude of the original leakage signal. The present invention enables the cancellation of the leakage signal in the forward radio frequency signal transmitted by the RFID reader, which is leaked to a reverse receive channel.
