PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery discharge capacity determination method etc. capable of determining the discharge capacity of batteries by estimating a response voltage to a required load current.;SOLUTION: In a form of implementation of the battery discharge capacity determination method of the present invention shown in Fig.1, an optimal state vector X is estimated by the extended kalman filter operation, and adjustable parameters of an equivalent circuit 21 are updated to optimum parameters on the basis of the estimated optimal state vector X (step S7). On the basis of the equivalent circuit 21 using the updated adjustable parameters, a voltage drop V when a battery 12 is made to discharge in a prescribed current pattern is estimated (step S8) to determine the discharge capacity of the battery 12 (step S9).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
