The present invention relates to a method for the selective quantification of individual proteins in a protein mixture. This method is based on the determination of the individual concentrations of the proteins in the protein mixture from a UV absorption spectrum of the protein mixture. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a system, based on this method, for the selective quantification of individual proteins in a protein mixture.
