The present invention relates to a composition for natural killer cell differentiation containing a TOX (thymocyte selection-associated HMG box protein) as an active ingredient and to a differentiation method using the same, and, more specifically, the TOX can be used to advantage in inducing natural killer cell differentiation since TOX regulates the expression of T-bet which induces differentiation from haematopoietic stem cells to natural killer cells and is known to be an important regulator in the process of differentiation of natural killer cells.
