A system of visual markers is described for fastening and digitising garment patterns on a flexible board, with magnetised blocks (20) for fastening the patterns (40) to the magnetic surface of the board, and visual markers (30) for identifying metadata on these patterns (40) during digitisation by a specific computer program. The visual marker (30) is preferably quasi-isotropic, and has a single peripheral mark (31) for identifying the angle of rotation of the annotation in relation to a cartesian plane, and a visual symbol (32) that identifies the type of annotation. The visual marker (30) is optionally associated with the magnetised blocks (20) for fastening the patterns, and allows the display of additional information on the pattern being digitised.
