The present invention relates generally to a transaction managing system, an apparatus for managing transactions and to a method for use in such an apparatus. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus (60) for managing transactions, the apparatus being adapted to perform a dynamic receipt message process providing the capability to select among a plurality of text messages and print said messages corresponding to the transaction data printed on a receipt or another document generated by the transaction managing system. According to the invented dynamic receipt message, the content of each message is depending on the transaction data printed on the receipt.
