A synchronization method for displaying mixed signals of stereoscopic and flat image signals on ultra large screen, involves: receiving different stereoscopic signals format inputs, decoding into flat signals format which alternatively emerges between left and right eye, and generating a frame synchronous signals to mark a left eye frame and a right eye frame; respectively overlying the left eye frame signals and right eye frame signals of different stereoscopic signals, respectively overlying the left eye signals and right eye signals with flat signals, combining the overlain signals with the frame synchronous signals; intercepting a corresponding part image with a image controller and generating overlapping areas and mixed zones and outputting to the display device by referring to the frame synchronous signals, generating a signal for controlling a liquid crystal valve to open and close corresponding to the synchronous signal of each frame, and outputting the stereoscopic synchronous signal by an infrared transmitter.
