The invention relates to dryer systems of a printing press (01) which processes and/or converts printing material (11), with a dryer (03), through which the printing material (11) can be guided and, while it is being guided through, can be brought into contact with hot dryer intake air in the dryer interior in order to dry said printing material (11), wherein, in order to heat the dryer intake air, at least one first heat exchanger (16; 23) is provided, through which at least part of the dryer intake air to be guided into the dryer (03) is guided on the cold side as intake air stream (14), and a heating fluid which is different from a dryer waste air and imparts heat to the dryer intake air to be heated in the heat exchanger (16; 21) is guided on the hot side, wherein the dryer (03) comprises at least one heating zone (36) and at least one cooling zone (37), and the dryer intake air which is heated by the first heat exchanger (16) is fed to a heating zone (36) of the dryer (03), and wherein a dryer waste air stream (39) out of the cooling zone (37) is fed in its entirety or at least partially to the first heat exchanger (16) as intake air stream (14) or at least as part of the intake air stream (14).
