The value of surface inspection in the printing and finishing marketplace has grown considerably with advancements in camera technology and processing power. Today, detailed print quality inspection can be combined with comprehensive data integrity verification, color web viewing and machine control to provide printers and converters with comprehensive piece level quality verification. The combining of these previously separate verification processes at press speeds is having a tangible, positive influence on output quality, cost per piece and production throughput.
