Disclosed is a two-dimensional waveguide-type mesh mirror terahertz free-electron laser resonator. The two-dimensional waveguide-type mesh mirror terahertz free-electron laser resonator comprises: a vacuum heat-insulating layer of a metal tub; a helical or planar undulator which is supplied with cryogenic coolant, such as liquid nitrogen, liquid helium or the like, from the exterior to the inside of the vacuum heat-insulating layer, and thus operates as an electromagnet coil which generates a normal-conducting or superconducting magnetic field even in cryogenic environments; a two-dimensional cylindrical or rectangular waveguide which is provided inside the undulator, and is refrigerated to a very low temperature; and mesh mirrors which are provided on an incident part and an emission part of an electronic beam, respectively, in the two-dimensional waveguide.
