The steam brake, particularly damp-adaptive steam brake or vapor barrier (10'), is provided as diaphragm component, and has raster-type markings as cut auxiliary lines for forming a pattern, so that a seal device (20) is sectioned, to attach vapor barrier in place for hermetic sealing. A hole pattern (22) is adapted within projection of a cross section of a penetrating body (100). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a seal device; (2) a method for manufacturing seal device; and (3) a method for hermetic sealing of damp-adaptive steam brake or vapor barrier.
