Said chitosan fibre medical dressing comprises chitosan fibre and a substrate, wherein viscosity of the chitosan fibre is more than 800 mPa.s, deacetylating degree is more than 90%, ash content is less than 0.5%, fibre degree is 1.2-5.0 dtex, intensity is more than 1.5 CN/dlex, rupture stretch ratio is more than 6%, bacteria resistant ratio is more than 85%, and chitosan content in the chitosan fibre is more than 99.9%. The chitosan fibre medical dressing of the invention provides soft protection for wound and arrests bleeding quickly.
